The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Miami Marlins 5-3 last night at PNC Park. Rookie third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes returned from an injury to play for the first time since the second game of the season and had two hits, one of them was a triple. Catcher Jacob Stallings drove in three runs. Bryan Reynolds hit his eighth home run of the year. Kyle Crick earned the victory in relief of starter Tyler Anderson. Rich Rodriguez earned his seventh save.
The Bucs host the Marlins again tonight at 7:05pm. WISR pre-game is 6:40pm.
