The Pittsburgh Pirates won their fourth game in a row following a 3-2 victory over Miami last night. It is the first time the Pirates have won four games in a row under manage Derek Shelton.
The Pirates opened the game with Chris Stratton, who allowed one run on two hits over 2-1/3rd innings. Four relievers held the Marlins to a run over the final 6-2/3rds innings of the game. Jake Marisnick hit his second home run in two games since returning from injury. O’Neill Cruz had a triple which drove in a run.
The Bucs and Marlins play again tonight at 6:40pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:10pm.
