After scoring 41 points in his previous game, Blake Hinson scored just 10 points for Pitt. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Panthers. Pitt will host Virginia Tech Saturday night.
Creighton earned their first-ever win against a #1-ranked team with an 85-66 win over defending national champion UConn. The loss ended a 14-game winning streak for the Huskies, who dropped to 24-3 overall. Creighton is now 20-7.
