Pitt will host Duke tonight in ACC men’s basketball at the Petersen Events Center. It will be the final time the Panthers square off with legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, who is retiring at the end of the season.
Pitt head coach Jeff Capel played under Krzyzewski and was a coaching assistant for the Blue Devils. Duke enters the game 25-4 overall and 15-3 in the ACC. The Panthers are 11-18 overall and 6-12 in the ACC. Tip-off is 8pm.
Duke is now ranked fourth overall in men’s college basketball this week by the Associated Press. They moved up three spots after the entire previous top-five lost last week. Only Gonzaga and Arizona remained at the top of the poll. Baylor jumped from #10 to third ahead of the Blue Devils. Auburn fell two spots to #5. Purdue fell from #4 to #8 after falling to Michigan State.
