The Pitt football team, who were idle over the weekend, are now ranked for the first time this season at #23 entering this week. The 7-2 Panthers will host #9-ranked Notre Dame for a noon kick-off at Acrisure Stadium this Saturday. The Fighting Irish are also 7-2.
For the first time in 20 years, ESPN’s full “College GameDay” production is coming to the Steel City. The network announced yesterday that its flagship college football show will broadcast live from Pittsburgh ahead of the Saturday’s game. Also, the ACC Network’s “ACC Huddle” will also be onsite throughout the weekend, adding to what is looking to be one of the most high-profile football Saturdays in recent Pitt history. The Panthers are currently tied for first place in the ACC.
