The Pitt Panthers defeated Georgia Tech 34-20 last night in Atlanta to complete their ACC regular season. Running back Vincent Davis rushed 25 times for a career-high 247 yards for Pitt. The Panthers ended their ACC season 5-5 and 6-5 overall.

Four more major college football games that were scheduled for Saturday were canceled yesterday due to positive coronavirus tests. The games canceled include #13-ranked Oklahoma against West Virginia. 10 games were canceled this weekend.
Boston College is opting out of playing in a bowl game this year, becoming the first school to pass on the opportunity. BC officials said the decision is being made to allow their athletes to return home and spend the Christmas holiday with their families.
The annual Army-Navy football game is being played at West Point tomorrow for the first time in 77 years. The two service academies agreed to move the game from the home of the Philadelphia Eagles to West Point due to crowd restrictions. It is Army’s turn to be the home team for the 121st meeting of the rivals. Fans will not be permitted – but academy students will be permitted to attend.
