The #4-ranked Pitt women’s volleyball team swept #7-ranked Louisville Cardinals 3-0 Wednesday at the Petersen Events Center. The Panthers improved to 25-4 this season and are 17-2 in the ACC. They will visit Georgia Tech Saturday. With a victory they would earn at least a share the ACC title. Stanford travels to Louisville to complete their season. Pitt and Stanford are currently tied for the ACC lead. If Stanford were to lose, and Pitt wins, the Panthers would likely earn a #1 NCAA tournament seed. The playoff bracket will be unveiled Sunday.
