The Pitt women’s volleyball team has reached the NCAA tournament “Final Four” for the fifth consecutive season following a 3-1 victory over Purdue Saturday in their “Elite Eight” match-up. Pitt will meet Texas A&M Thursday in one of two national semi-final games.
Pitt was a #1 seed entering the tournament. Texas A&M were a #3 seed.
In the other semifinal match – #1 seed Kentucky will meet #3 seed Wisconsin.
The Final Four matches and the national championship match will all take place in Kansas City, Missouri.
