The Pitt Panther and West Virginia Mountaineers meet tonight in the first meeting of their “Backyard Brawl” in 11 years. Kick-off is 7pm at Acrisure Stadium. The Panthers are favored by 7-1/2 points. Former Pitt head coach Dave Wannstedt will serve as the Panthers honorary captain tonight.
Penn State will open their season tonight with a Big Ten Conference game against Purdue. Kick-off is West Lafayette, Indiana is 8pm.
