Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett is one of 12 college players appearing on the Heisman Trophy ballot. Pickett became the first quarterback in ACC history to throw for at least 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in the first 12 games of a season.
The Panthers are 2-1/2 point favorites in their ACC championship game with Wake Forest. Kick-off in Charlotte is set for 8pm Saturday night. More than 100 students spent the night outside overnight waiting to get tickets for this weekend’s game.
