New numbers from the Pittsburgh International Airport show that there was a significant increase in the number of passengers last year.
According to their year-end data, there were just over 9 million people who flew out of the airport in 2023. That’s a nearly 13 percent increase compared to 2022.
Those numbers are still shy of pre-pandemic travel, which saw around 9.5 million people fly in 2019.
