A Pittsburgh woman is facing multiple charges following a Thanksgiving Day car chase with police that began in neighboring Mercer County and included parts of Butler County.
According to State Police, a trooper attempted to pull over 32-year-old Britney Goodwine for a traffic violation just before 5:30 p.m. last Thursday.
Goodwine allegedly refused to stop and traveled southbound for about 45 miles. Troopers used stop sticks near the Butler / New Castle exit but Goodwine continued to drive on the rims at a high rate of speed.
Goodwine eventually left 79 at the Wexford exit where her vehicle became disabled. She was then taken back to the Mercer County Jail where she is awaiting charges that include Fleeing and Eluding while DUI.
