A plan to reintroduce the American Marten to Pennsylvania has been postponed.
The state’s Board of Commissioners had a split vote to bring back the species into forests.
Those opposing reintroducing the marten have expressed concerns about how it will impact other prey and predators.
However, the commission says that the long-term plan could be voted on again this year once other issues are addressed by officials.
