An Armstrong County man is facing charges in Butler County after a hit and run in early October.
On October 3 while traveling westbound on New Castle Road at Butler Commons, 54-year-old John McDonald of Kittanning merged into the right lane. After the merge McDonald came to a sudden complete stop at a green light.
The victim driving behind McDonald then crashed into him from behind. After the crash McDonald made a hand gesture and drove off.
McDonald has been charged was cited for Hit, carless driving, and other traffic violations.
