A woman is in the Butler County Prison after she broke into a home and started looking for food.
The incident happened just after midnight Monday at a home on Baumgart Lane in Oakland Township.
State police say the homeowner was in her bedroom when her dog started barking. When she walked into the kitchen, she found Laurie Crawford of Butler rummaging through her cupboards looking for food.
The homeowner told Crawford to leave, which she did. Crawford was arrested at her home and was taken to Butler County Prison.
