Law enforcement is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred over the weekend in Franklin Township.
According to State Police, shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday troopers were dispatched to the Longhorn Corral on Route 422 (New Castle Road).
Troopers observed 50-year-old Robert Miller of Butler with a stab wound to his neck and arm. A woman at that location sustained injuries to her face and head.
Police have charged Miller with making terroristic threats, simple assault, and false imprisonment, along with drug-related charges. The woman was determined to have been held against her will while under the threat of violence with an edged weapon.
Police found that the woman “responded with force as a last resort to preserve her own life”.
