Police are investigating after they found a dead dog on the side of the road.
It happened on last Tuesday on Stutz Road in Summit Township.
Police say a large, brindled colored dog with a green collar was found dead. Officers also say it was wrapped in a red blanket.
Police did not reveal any suspects, but say they are investigating this as a case of animal cruelty.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
