State Police in Mercer County are investigating an armed robbery of an Amish man late last week.
State police were called to Lackawannock Township just after 8 p.m. Thursday for an armed robbery of a man on a buggy.
Police say a black sedan pulled in front of buggy and a white man in dark clothing with a medical mask got out of the car on Number Eight Road and Speer Road.
The man then allegedly pointed a gun at a man on a buggy demanding his wallet. After taking the man’s wallet, the suspect left the scene.
While police were on scene speaking to the victim another theft of similar nature was reported on Leesburg Station Road but the second Amish man did not give up his wallet and the sedan drove off.
Police believe one person was driving the sedan and another pointing the gun.
Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police in Mercer County.
