Police are continuing to investigate a traffic collision in Grove City earlier this week involving a Butler County man.
According to Grove City Police, the accident occurred just before 8 a.m. Monday morning at the intersection of West Pine and South Broad Streets.
An investigation determined that a vehicle operated by 23-year-old Mark Sessar of Slippery Rock was making a left turn when it struck 64-year-old Margaret Mong of Grove City. Police say that Mong entered the roadway against the pedestrian stop signal.
Mong was transported to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries not believed to be serious.
