A woman was flown to an area hospital after she was shot by police in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
According to our news partners at WPXI, it happened just after 9 a.m. when police responded to a domestic dispute on Copper Road.
When police arrived, they found the woman walking along the road with a gun. They asked her to drop her gun, but she refused, prompting troopers to fire their weapons.
The woman’s name is not known, but authorities say her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
