Police are asking for help find the person or people responsible for recent thefts from vehicles in neighboring Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, the first theft was reported Saturday at 11 a.m. The victim reported that a catalytic converter was stolen off of a Honda CRV while in a Grove City College parking lot near the East Main Street Presbyterian Church. This occurred sometime between Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning.
A short time later that day, officers were dispatched to speak with a different person also about the recent theft of a catalytic converter from a 2005 Chevy Venture minivan. This time the theft took place in the parking lot of College View Towers during the overnight hours.
