More details are emerging from Wednesday’s tractor trailer accident that shut down Route 38 for hours.
The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township.
Police say 28-year-old Kirt Charles of Philipsburg was driving southbound when his truck began to drift off the road. He tried to quickly move back onto the road, but lost control of his truck.
The tractor trailer then flipped over onto its passenger side.
Charles was not injured, but the truck was significantly damaged.
Route 38 was shut down through all the morning drive and into the afternoon.
