Police have released more information about the drug bust that took place Thursday morning in Butler City.
The bust began at 6:00 a.m. yesterday morning at two different homes but an hour into the bust a shelter in place warning was put into place on North Chestnut and Locust streets.
State police did not give a reason for the shelter in place but the supervisor on scene felt it was needed.
State police also say that no shots were fired or injuries occurred, although people in the area may have heard shot bangs or house breaching materials.
14 people were taken into custody but there is no word on if all those taken into custody will be charged.
The State Attorney General’s office led the investigation.
