Police are searching for a suspect that stole thousands of dollars’ worth of wire.
The theft happened in late October at a home on Rabbitt Road in Donegal Township.
Police say that someone stole 12 rolls of new 10-gauge stranded wire, which is about a total of 2,500 feet. It was taken off the front porch of the home.
Police estimate the value at $12,000.
Investigators checked with local scrap yards, but did not have any success in locating the wire.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
