A portion of I-80 has been shut down after an accident this morning.
It happened before 6 a.m. near the Route 19 interchange in Mercer County.
Details on the crash are not known, but a stretch of the westbound lane has been shut down in between Route 19 and West Middlesex. Traffic in the eastbound lane is significantly backed up as well.
Early morning snow has quickly accumulated; PennDOT officials are urging drivers to be careful.
