An improvement project at a local park will result in a temporary closure.
According to Butler Township Manager Tom Knights, the project contractor needs to close Preston Park to the public beginning Monday. The need for closures will be updated weekly based on the scope of the work.
The project at Preston Park will include the construction of a new portion of road and 67 parking spaces as well as providing public water and sewer service to new restroom facilities.
This project is expected to be completed sometime the week of August 24th when the new restroom facility will be delivered.
