In an effort to end the state budget impasse one state lawmaker has proposed legislation to fund a major portion of the budget.
State Representative Seth Grove has proposed a Reconciliation budget that he says would fund a most parts of the budget. Grove says other elected members agree “over 50% of the budget are in 100% agreement – down to the penny.”
Grove uses the most recent bills passed in the senate and house as to decide what will be funding will be decided immediately.
If this bill is passed it would see 510 appropriation items fully funded and 424 items partially funded. This would account for 98.7 percent of items fully funded while still debating any increased funding.
