A Prospect man is in the Butler County Prison after he allegedly threatened to kill two people with a knife in his hand.
Police were called to a home last Thursday in the 800 block of David Street for a domestic incident that happened the day before.
The victim allegedly got into an argument with 32-year-old Jerry Higley and that Higley shoved them to the ground. Higley also is accused of putting his hands around the victim’s neck.
Police say Higley then threatened two people inside the home with a knife, saying he would kill them if they called police.
Higley has been charged with strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $150,000 bail as he awaits a January 14 preliminary hearing.
