The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is recommending homeowners keep an eye on electric bills this time of year.
According to the PUC, West Penn Power residential customers will see a nearly eight percent increase in energy costs while Penn Power customers will see an over seven percent jump.
The adjustment in prices for electric generation or supply is in response to anticipated winter weather and level of usage.
Regular price “checkups” of electric bills are recommended along with reviews of current contracts with competitive suppliers. Visit the PAPowerSwitch.com website for more information
