Even though the temperatures may feel like summer, many are preparing for the fall season.
That includes decorating the house with pumpkins, which a new study shows how important the Keystone State is for the nation’s pumpkin production.
Pennsylvania ranks as the country’s third-largest pumpkin producer. Last year, the USDA says that Pennsylvania grew over 108 million pounds of pumpkins.
That’s a significant increase from the previous year, which produced around 90 million pounds of pumpkins.
