The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Baltimore Ravens 33-27 in overtime last night on Monday Night Football. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to win the game on their second possession of the extra period.
The Raiders appeared to have the game won on their first possession of the OT – but threw an interception after a premature touchdown celebration. The Raiders defense got the ball back by forcing a Baltimore fumble.
The Raiders win gave the AFC West a perfect Week 1 in the NFL. They joined the NFC West, who also had a perfect weekend.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Raiders this Sunday at Heinz Field at 1pm.
