A group of local students will hold their 11th annual dance marathon fundraiser later this week.
The event is called “Raiderthon” and features volunteer student council members on their feet from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Seneca Valley Senior High gym.
Raiderthon has raised over $100,000 for the Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania over the past 10 years with a goal of $15,000 this year. Adults are welcome to attend for a $7 fee while students are $5, which will also go to the Miracle League.
This cash-only event will also include face painting, balloon art, carnival booths, big volleyball, karaoke, raffles, yard games, bingo, an airbrush tattoo artist, and refreshments including Marburger drinks. There is an online GoFundMe account where people can contribute to this effort.
