The Grapevine Center is holding their 11th annual Recovery Fest later this week.
This free event will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Grapevine Center on North Elm Street, and will include a band, therapy dogs, and other activities.
The event will serve as a way to celebrate recovery and also provide resources to those afflicted with mental health issues or drug and alcohol addictions.
Officials say that mental illness has become very prevalent, and many have become homeless as a result.
