Local people able to donate blood are asked to consider making an appointment for later this week.
The American Red Cross is holding a blood donation opportunity tomorrow (Monday) from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at American Legion Post 778 in Butler. An additional opportunity to donate will also be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Robert N. Smith Center on the campus of Slippery Rock University.
Those who donate before the end of the month will receive a $10 gift card by email as well as be entered to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.
