As a new year kicks off, the American Red Cross is offering a chance to win some pricey tickets for those who donate during the month of January.
In honor of National Blood Donor Month, the Red Cross says that anyone who gives blood at any point in January will be entered into a trip for two to this year’s Super Bowl.
A drive is taking place today from noon to 5 p.m. at Grace Church of Harmony while another is scheduled for Monday, January 20th at Community Care Connections in Butler.
Red Cross officials say that this time of year can see a declining supply of blood due to the threat of severe weather and donors dealing with illness.
