Butler VA Health Care System is continuing infrastructure upgrades with the goal of improving care for local veterans.
Local improvements scheduled for the third quarter of this fiscal year include spending nearly $1.9 million to renovate the pharmacy at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center.
The VA is also replacing the fire station roof at the New Castle Road location for a cost of $100,000.
This work is part of nearly $5 billion in VA spending nationwide to modernize, repair, and improve VA Health Care facilities this year.
