Congressman Mike Kelly is joining with Republican colleagues in the House of Representatives opposing the Senate immigration and foreign aid package.
The bill was composed by members of both Republican and Democratic parties; it provides funding for Ukraine, Israel, and money for border security.
Kelly opposed the bill saying that border security aspect of the bill does not go far enough.
Leadership of House Republicans have called the bill “dead on arrival.”
Both Senators Bob Casey and John Fetterman have expressed support for the bill.
