Congressman Mike Kelly is offering his reaction following yesterday’s indictment of former President Donald Trump.
The Republican from the 16th Congressional District said in a statement that “the Biden Justice Department is targeting President Trump.”
He believes that the Department of Justice is going after the former President calling it a “two-tiered justice system.”
He also added that “if it wasn’t for a double standard, there would be no standard at all.”
Trump was indicted on felony charges Tuesday with prosecutors saying he worked to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the run-up to the Capitol riots on January 6th.
Kelly has endorsed Trump in the Republican primary for president.
