Congressman Mike Kelly says he’s recovering at home after testing positive for COVID-19.
Kelly announced last Friday that he was tested at the Butler Memorial Hospital drive-through facility and the results came back positive.
His offices are operating on tele-work status, meaning constituents can continue to call or email if they any questions.
Kelly urges everyone to take the virus seriously and work together to slow its spread.
“Isolation is not fun, but I can tell you that neither is catching this disease,” Kelly said in an email. “We must ensure that our hospitals can help those whose symptoms require critical care, so we can’t all get sick at once.”
