Congressman Mike Kelly is urging Pennsylvania to stay fully connected to a nationwide law-enforcement data sharing network.
Kelly and other Republican congressmen are urging Governor Josh Shapiro to protect the Public Safety Network, which they say is an important information-sharing system used by law enforcement agencies nationwide.
Democrats in the state legislature are pushing for Shapiro to restrict data to federal agents in ICE and border patrol.
Shapiro has not publicly weighed in on the proposal.
