A local lawmaker plans to hold a voting meeting this week in Harrisburg to discuss the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative advocated by Governor Tom Wolf.
State Representative and Pennsylvania House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe will advance a resolution in opposition to Wolf’s actions on Monday at the State Capitol Complex.
Metcalfe also plans to hold an informational meeting on Monday at 9:30 a.m. about the economic consequences of the state adopting increased regulations on diesel emission controls for large trucks.
Both gatherings are scheduled to be streamed live online through Metcalfe’s website.
