All pandemic restrictions, other than the mask mandate, are now over in Pennsylvania.
Restaurants and bars can now increase to full 100 percent capacity. The same goes for retail stores and other businesses.
Sporting venues and concert halls are also allowed to move to full capacity.
Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam says that as restriction ease, her department will still keep a keen eye on the latest COVID-related data.
“Between making sure that we contain our outbreaks, preserve the safety of the vulnerable populations, and continue our contact tracing and testing efforts, we believe that we’re going to be to have the Commonwealth the lifting of the mitigation orders done safely here,” Beam said.
Beam also said last week the mask mandate will be lifted on June 28th—or if 70 percent of Pennsylvania residents become fully vaccinated.
