An upcoming event this weekend looks to give residents a hands-on opportunity to learn more about nature at a local park.
It’s called “Sustainable Landcare Summer Celebration” and its happening Sunday at Ritts Park in the City of Butler.
Organizers say the day includes a follow up on the stream repair project, an introduction to the invasive species app, and wraps up with a relaxing yoga session.
The event is free and is open to the public.
The celebration is being organized by the Community Tree Resources—which help plant trees at Ritts Park in 2021.
