A six-run 5th inning propelled the Colorado Rockies to a 10-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates last night. Starter Mitch Keller threw four scoreless innings, before the Rockies tagged him for six runs and seven hits.
Brandon Bidois made his debut for the Pirates last night, allowing one home run. He becomes the first-ever Australian born to play for the Bucs.
Ryan O’Hearn did homer for the Bucs, his sixth of the season.
The Pirates look to take the series today. First pitch at 12:35 p.m. on WISR. Pregame coverage will begin at 12:10. Mason Montgomery will be the “opener” for the Pirates, before Carmen Mlodinzki takes over.
