At least one person was seriously injured as a result of a crash that backed up traffic on Wednesday afternoon in Butler Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 2 p.m. for a multiple-vehicle accident near the intersection of Pittsburgh Road and Decatur Drive.
Crews from Butler Township, Butler City, and Butler Ambulance were dispatched to find both northbound and southbound lanes blocked.
One motorist was experiencing traumatic arrest, so traffic had to be detoured on the busy road.
