The Salvation Army has nearly reached the half way point of their fundraising goal for the 28 counties in Western Pennsylvania.
More than $1 million of the $2.345 million goal has been raised. To help reach the fundraising goal cash donations received this Saturday by red kettles will be matched up to $5,000 each.
Although they are nearing the seasonal goal, the Salvation Army is still seeing a need for service in the following areas, Erie, Greenville, Rochester, Uniontown, and Warren.
Donations can be made to red kettles up until December 23 but they will not be out on the 24.
Donations can also be made online at any time.
