Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators Friday night by a score of 4-1.
Goaltender Tristian Jarry, who left the Winter Classic game on January 2nd with a lower-body injury, returned to lead the Penguins to the victory with 46 saves. Jake Guentzel had 2 goals and an assist, while Rickard Rakell and Jason Zucker also had goals.
The Penguins will return to action on Sunday against the New Jersey Devils for a 2PM face-off. Pre-game coverage of this game will begin at 1:30PM on WISR.
College Basketball
The BC3 basketball teams will be hosting Westmoreland today. The women will play at 1PM and the men at 3PM.
The SRU basketball teams will travel to Pitt-Johnstown today. The Women play at 1PM and the men at 3PM. The men are 12-4 overall and 6-4 in their conference, while the women are 9-7 overall and 4-6 in their conference.
The Pitt men’s basketball team will host Florida State at the Petersen Events Center today at 3PM. The Panthers enter the game 13-6 overall and 6-2 in the ACC.
