The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres in their final pre-season game last night by a score of 5-4 in overtime.
Sidney Crosby lead the Pens to victory, collecting 2 goals on 3 shots, including the game-winner in OT.
Starting Goaltender Tristan Jarry allowed 3 goals on 19 shots. Sergey Murashov stopped 12 of his 13 shots faced while in net.
The Penguins open their season on Tuesday in New York at 8 PM. They will face former head coach Mike Sullivan, who will be making his debut with the Rangers.
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds visit Miami tonight at 7 PM. A win by the Hounds, coupled with a loss by Rhode Island Sunday, would clinch a playoff spot for Pittsburgh for the eighth consecutive season.
