The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Toronto Blue Jays in the first of a three game series at PNC Park by a score of 4-0.
Prior to the game pitcher Vince Velazquez was placed on the 15-Day IL with elbow inflammation. Designated hitter Andrew McCutchen was also scratched from the lineup with an ankle sprain.
The Pirates play again tonight at 6:35 PM. Pre-game is on WISR at 6:10 PM.
