The annual Saxonburg Carnival returns starting tonight.
The event runs all week at the carnival grounds in Saxonburg.
Tonight’s festivities kick off with the Pet Parade on Main Street, which is free and open to all.
The rest of the week includes the Firefighter’s Water Battle tomorrow night, and the Fireman’s Parade is set for Thursday night.
The carnival will open each night at 6 p.m. and stay open until close, which is usually around 11 p.m.
Admission into the carnival is free, but tickets are needed to ride.
The carnival is organized by the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and serves as a major fundraiser.
